Rates are for double occupancy and include our home-cooked breakfast. Rates are subject to applicable taxes. We can accommodate 1 additional guest in the Thyme, Rosemary, and Parsley rooms, and up to 2 additional guests in the Nutmeg Suite and the Sugar Shack for an additional charge of $35 per night per additional guest over the age of eight.
DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
Only one discount or promotion can be applied to a guest reservation. Discounts cannot be combined. When using a discount or promotion, the greater discount will be applied.
We accept cash, traveler’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If you are paying by cash, it is collected at the time of check-in (a credit card is required to secure the reservation).
A deposit of one night’s stay is required unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. Room blocks are available and require a 2 night minimum stay per room and payment in full at the time of the reservation. Room blocks of 3 or more rooms are subject to the cancellation terms listed below.
Check-in time for the inn is between 3 PM and 6 PM. To arrange a check-in after 6 PM, please call 603-677-7245 or email email@example.com. If your travel or flight is delayed, please contact the inn or email us to let us know your estimated arrival time so that we can be prepared for your arrival.
We have private off-street parking to accommodate all guests.
Check out time is 11 AM. You are welcome to spend additional time at the inn or on the grounds, but unless prior alternative arrangements have been made please clear your guest room of all personal belongings by 11:00 AM so that we can begin readying the room for guests arriving in the afternoon.
MINIMUM NIGHT STAYS
There is a two (2) night minimum stay requirement for all rooms during the summer season, unless otherwise noted on our online reservation system. A three (3) night minimum stay requirement applies for holiday weekends and Bike Week.
Included in the rate is a full, home-cooked breakfast each morning of your stay and unlimited tea and coffee plus an afternoon snack. Coffee and tea is available starting at 7:00AM. Breakfast is served daily from between 8:00AM and 9:30AM. If you would like de-caffeinated coffee, please request this the night before. A homemade snack is served mid-afternoon. *NOTE: Suites only available for weekly rentals from Jul 1st-Aug 26th 2022 from Sat to Sat. Full Service Suites do not include breakfast during this period unless ordered at time of booking or prior to arrival at a rate of $10pp/ per day.
If you need to cancel all or part of your confirmed reservation, we must receive advance notice at least fourteen (14) days prior to your reserved check-in date. Then your deposit will be fully refunded less a $25.00 service charge per room canceled. Reservations made through an on-line travel agent (OTA, e.g. Expedia) must be canceled through the OTA. If you cancel your reservation within fourteen (14) days of your reserved check-in date, you are responsible for the balance of your reservation. If you have made your reservation through the Nutmeg Inn web site or directly by calling the Nutmeg Inn, and we are able to re-rent your room for any portion of your reservation, your deposit and any balance paid up to the amount we’ve rebooked for another guest will be refunded less a $25.00 service charge per room canceled. This policy applies to late arrivals, early departures and no-shows as well. Room block deposits of 3 or more rooms cancelled are non-refundable (unless rooms are able to be re-booked).
Children eight years of age and under are not permitted as guests except in the Sugar Shack and the Nutmeg Suite. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian. All children aged 15 and under must be supervised by an adult when using our swimming pool or game room.
FOOD AND DRINKS IN GUEST ROOMS
We work diligently to ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful, memorable experience. That experience includes maintaining high standards when it comes to providing clean facilities, linens, artwork, antiques and furniture. We ask that all guests please refrain from eating or bringing beverages into the guest rooms. We have a guest refrigerator located in the complimentary beverage area that you are welcome to use. All food consumption should be in the dining, common, or designated outside areas of the inn.
We do not allow pets at the inn, if you are traveling with a pet and need pet accommodations, there is a good pet boarding facility within one mile of the inn (please call for details).
We are a non-smoking facility. We do permit smoking in areas away from doors and windows outdoors. Any smoking inside of the building or in non-designated areas will result in an immediate request to leave, an additional cleaning fee of $150, plus your room charges.
