A very pleasurable Inn. Comfortable bed, amazing gourmet breakfast and very pleasant inn keepers. Would highly recommend to others. If your looking for a place close to the lake and restaurants this is a great choice!

The Nutmeg Inn was a fantastic place to stay, Lynn and Mark are outstanding hosts and made us feel right at home. We have to be in New Hampshire for a number of occassions and will be making our home away from home at the Nutmeg Inn!!!

We were looking for a weekend getaway, COVID had us penned into NewEngland. Normally not a B&B couple but they have a suite separate from the inn itself called the Sugar Shack, A remodeled maple sugar shack from the 1800’s. The stay was absolutely fabulous the innkeepers made us feel like extended family the food was great and the accommodations were very clean and they kept a sharp eye on sanitizing. Couldn’t ask for anything more thanks again Mark and Lynne

If we could give the Nutmeg Inn more than 5 stars we would. We stayed here for 4 nights in mid July. Having never been to the Lake Winnipesaukee area before, and not knowing what to expect during the ongoing pandemic, we can not say enough great things about the Inn and the Innkeepers Lynne and Mark. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extra comfy, the breakfast and snacks provided every day were off the charts delicious and much better than one could ever get in a hotel, and the overall ambience and grounds were beautiful. Lynne and Mark helped make our trip even better by providing us with fabulous recommendations from great hiking trails to great restaurants. And they went above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and safe in every way by ensuring everyone wore masks, provided hand sanitizer stations throughout, and took extra caution in the way they sat and served the guests. We highly recommend the Nutmeg Inn and can’t wait to go back.

Stayed at nutmeg over the weekend- very nice inn and hosts lynn and mark are super hosts. wouldnt hesitate to re-book when we head back to thsa area. nice location anly a few minutes to merideth and harts turkey farm.

Lynne and Mark have made a beautiful little haven of this Inn. So much hard work-- and it shows. This was our first get away since Covid, and we felt safe and welcomed. Many steps taken to make sure everyone's safety was in mind. (breakfast seating was spaced throughout the first floor of the inn, masks worn in common areas, bedding was triple sheeted, everything was super clean). The pool and gardens are lovely, and we hung out there each afternoon. We enjoyed learning about Lynne's amazing quilt art and Mark's ironworking. They are two of the most talented and hardest working innkeepers we have met. Breakfast was amazing--homemade everything and so yummy. We would highly recommend a visit!

My husband and I visited the Nutmeg Inn last weekend. We truly enjoyed the Inn. Lynn and Mark were warm and really friendly. They made my husband a special breakfast as he does not eat eggs. They sent me home with a to go bag. The food was delicious. We loved the peace and quiet. We enjoyed their pool and patio area. We stayed in the Nutmeg Inn Suite and were very comfortable. Thank you Lynn and Mark for the terrific hospitality.

After a long day on the slopes, Nutmeg Inn was the perfect place to relax and enjoy NH. Mark greeted us warmly and we settled in for some hot tea and mulled cider, fresh baked goods and a game of scrabble in front of a cozy fire. This is an authentic, old New England home and we enjoyed discussing the history with Mark. Loved the wide pine floors, hand-hewn beams, fireplaces and spacious rooms. We would definitely recommend and hope to return. Thanks Mark and Lynn

Nutmeg Inn. Clean, charming, comfortable. Lynn and Mark are relaxed, efficient, affable innkeepers. They put you at ease when you walk in the door. The lodging is plenty big enough that you have your private getaway, but large enough to meet interesting people and socialize. The rooms are squeaky clean, dust free. We woke up rested and fresh when staying there. Breakfast was all scratch made, fresh and interesting. Marks homemade sourdough bread was fantastic. Some bnb's can be a little varied in experience, but the Nutmeg Inn is always a solid choice.

We stay at this Inn twice a year, summer and just before Christmas. Mark and Lynn are like family. We feel so at home from the moment we step through the door. The rooms are quaint and cozy. We love sitting in front of the fire place sipping hot mulled cider and looking at the beautiful large fresh Christmas tree. The breakfasts are fantastic! In the summer sitting by the pool is so relaxing and refreshing. We love staying here and enjoy the peace and quiet. It is located close to many NH Attractions as well. Love it!
